PACHA, Journal of Contemporary Studies of the Global South, invites authors to submit articles for its permanent call for papers. Pacha Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes 3 issues per year under the continuous publication system and seeks to position the issues of the Global South.
Since this is a permanent and open call for papers, there is no specific deadline and authors may submit their papers at any time. Submitted papers will be reviewed as soon as possible. Accepted papers will be published immediately after the editing phase.
We welcome contributions from young or established researchers and professors who address spaces, people, and experiences of those negatively affected by contemporary capitalist globalization (Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East).
We are interested in receiving articles on issues of economic development, political economy, agriculture, planning, working-class, popular movements, politics and power, imperialism and empire, international financial institutions, environment, and economic history, among others that portray the temporality of the Global South.

Accepted languages: English, Spanish or Portuguese.
Are there recommendations and/or templates for article structures?
Yes, citations and references should be in APA 7th edition style. More details and templates can be found here.
Is there a publication fee?
There is no article processing fee, nor is there an article submission fee.
