Abstract
In Ecuador, the informal transport sector, which includes tricycle companies, has not obtained the care required in terms of improving the work environment and human resource management. The general objective of the research was to analyze the incidence of the work environment on member satisfaction in the tricycle companies of La Maná canton. The research methodology had a quantitative, correlational, descriptive and deductive approach. The study sample consisted of 137 members of the three-wheeler companies in La Maná canton, who were chosen through simple random sampling. The results showed that the Organizational Identification dimension demonstrated a strong emotional bond with the entity. Meanwhile, the Organizational Identification dimension showed a high level of dedication of the members to the successes of their cooperative, which demonstrates a strong emotional bond with the entity. It was concluded that the analysis of the work climate in the tricycle companies was mostly positive, showing high levels of organizational identification, participative guidance and recognition of the leaders.
