Resumo
Este estudo procurou avaliar os impactos socioeconômicos dos serviços de microfinanças da Fundacion Grameen Pilipinas (FGP) entre mulheres empreendedoras de Bobon, Samar do Norte, Filipinas. Foi utilizado um método de pesquisa descritiva, que envolveu 37 membros beneficiários como respondentes. Foi realizada uma pesquisa, e os dados obtidos foram tabulados e analisados por meio de contagens de frequência, porcentagens e média ponderada, usando o software Statistical package for Social Science (SPSS). A análise estatística indicou que o valor do empréstimo teve uma relação significativa com a renda, mas não mostrou nenhuma relação com outros indicadores econômicos e sociais. O modo de pagamento teve relação significativa com a renda, a poupança e o acesso à educação. A finalidade do empréstimo demonstrou uma relação significativa com a poupança e a capacitação pessoal, enquanto os termos do empréstimo tiveram uma relação significativa com a renda, a poupança e a capacitação pessoal. Os empréstimos utilizados para pequenas empresas demonstraram estar significativamente relacionados à renda, à poupança, à aquisição de ativos e à capacitação pessoal. Os empréstimos usados para financiar empreendimentos de processamento de alimentos não apresentaram relações significativas com os indicadores econômicos e sociais. Os empréstimos utilizados para empresas de fabricação de artesanato mostraram-se significativamente relacionados à renda, poupança e aquisição de ativos, enquanto os empréstimos utilizados para a criação de porcos em quintais mostraram-se significativamente relacionados à renda.
