Abstract
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the perspective of business associations implies that organizations affiliated with a union assume an ethical and social commitment in their commercial and operational practices. This study, conducted within the FITAC business association, focused on the logistics and port sector in Colombia, used a qualitative methodology based on semi-structured interviews. A total of 40 interviews were conducted with key actors such as executives, workers, allies, affiliates, and representatives of civil society impacted by the association's activities. The analysis identified key dimensions such as Territory, Community, and Quality of Life; Development, Sustainability, and Vulnerability; and Public Policies, Government, and Labor Rights. The results show that business associations act as mediators between government policies and communities, addressing environmental and social challenges. Furthermore, the cluster analysis revealed significant correlations between the dimensions and subcategories, validating the study's conceptual framework.
