Abstract
The general objective of this research was to improve reading skills through the use of digital tools in higher-level students. It was developed under a non-experimental design by applying a questionnaire with a Likert scale to 34 students, whose reliability was assessed through Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient. The results of this research showed that 79.4% of the students use digital tools and 85.3% consider that this help improves reading comprehension. This statistical process was developed using SPSS and a normality analysis was carried out, which revealed that all the variables of the instrument were parametric, a frequency analysis to determine the use of digital tools, and a descriptive analysis to identify the tool that students preferences. These data allowed for structuring the proposal that proposes ways to use the Quizziz tool to improve reading skills.
