Resumo
Com a mudança contínua na tecnologia, a educação teve de inovar para oferecer instrução relevante, especialmente no aprendizado de idiomas. Nesse contexto, os alunos enfrentam desafios como tempo limitado, acesso restrito a falantes nativos e falta de feedback ou confiança na prática de suas habilidades de fala. Consequentemente, o ChatGPT, com seu recurso de voz, removeu essas barreiras e mudou a maneira como os alunos aprendem um idioma. Este estudo investigou quais são as percepções dos alunos sobre as formas tradicionais de praticar a fala em comparação com o ChatGPT para o aprendizado personalizado e autônomo de idiomas. O estudo foi centrado na personalização e na autonomia, analisando as percepções dos alunos enquanto eles interagiam com o ChatGPT. Da mesma forma, foi avaliado o impacto da ferramenta sobre os alunos e seu potencial para aprimorar suas habilidades de fala. Os dados foram coletados por meio de pesquisas pré e pós para conhecer as percepções dos alunos após duas sessões com o ChatGPT. Foi aplicado um método qualitativo pragmático para a análise dos dados. Os resultados mostraram que os alunos se sentiram mais confortáveis com o ChatGPT, pois ele lhes permitiu praticar em um ambiente interativo, sem julgamentos e com apoio. Os participantes mencionaram menos ansiedade e uma vontade de continuar praticando com a ferramenta de IA. Ferramenta de IA. Torna-se fundamentalmente importante implementar métodos de IA no aprendizado de idiomas e sugerir mais pesquisas possíveis sobre os impactos de longo prazo das tecnologias emergentes, bem como sobre a acessibilidade em contextos educacionais com recursos limitados.
