Resumen

El diagnóstico de infertilidad femenina repercute en su bienestar general y en el de sus parejas provocando diferentes síntomas como, distrés, angustia y tristeza que interfieren en la capacidad para afrontar el diagnóstico de forma funcional. Ante esta problemática, la presente revisión sistemática tiene como objetivo describir la efectividad de la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso (ACT) en mujeres con infertilidad para lograr una mejor adaptación del diagnóstico. Para cumplir lo planteado, se consultaron estudios que fueron seleccionados a partir de bases de datos como: Scopus, PubMed, LILACS y Google Scholar, utilizando los términos MeSH como: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy’’, ACT’’, Infertilidad’’, Infertility’’, Women’’, Quality of Life’’ y Mental Health’’. Se usó el software Rayyan para el cribado detallado, posteriormente, se escogieron los estudios que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión para ser leídos a texto completo y asegurar su rigor científico mediante PRISMA. Para la evaluación de la calidad metodológica y riesgo de sesgos se utilizó las guías CASPe y la declaración TREND. Se incluyeron 4 estudios que reportaron una mejora significativa en la flexibilidad psicológica, así como una reducción considerable de los síntomas de distrés, angustia y tristeza profunda. Esto indica que la ACT puede ser una intervención de elección para mejorar el bienestar y calidad de vida en mujeres con infertilidad. No existe ningún conflicto de interés en relación con la presente revisión sistemática ni con sus resultados encontrados. Además, no se recibió financiación de alguna entidad pública o privada.
